Continuing a tradition that is over seventeen years old, a group of men from Hunmanby meet up on a Monday evening
- 7pm sharp - at the bar of the Hunmanby Playing Fields Association. The grouping was initially called the ‘Monday
Night Club’ but is now better known as the ‘Tufty Club’. The principle purpose for the get-together is to have a
few drinks and a few games of dominoes as an antidote to the ‘back-to-work’ feeling that a Monday brings. In recent
times however the Club has expanded its ‘area of operation’ to include a two day trip to the city of Amsterdam, with
further continental visits planned. Other innovations have seen the design and commission of the ‘Tufty Club’ Polo
Shirt which incorporates a cartoon duck as the club symbol.
